Miley Cyrus (@MileyCyrus) was once the pop princess, with hyped-up hits like Party In The USA and 7 Things I Hate About You from a Disney roster of chart tunes. There is nothing better than booty shaking to Can't Be Tamed on a flourescent stage at university whilst intoxicated. Nowadays she's dressed like a heinous hot mess in the thrift shop sales during a bleak blackout, and twerking on her own to her lacklustre and lame single We Can't Stop.
After the inappropriate image haul to gold chain bearing street walker, I expected everything from Miley to get worse and was correct when my ears starting bleeding from WTF earache. With the dullest pop/r&b/dance melody and overly sugary sweet vocal talent, We Can't Stop is a childish copycat party record, the lazy follow-up to Party In The USA. It's miserably unexciting, a mediocre pop tune that lacks in charm or coolness.
